Thermal Spray Coating

Thermal spray coating is an alternative to hard chrome plating and is also used to coat or build up surfaces. We recommend this process for restoring cast iron shafts. In the above images, repairs to worn journals made of ductile cast iron are accomplished using a Thermo high energy plasma spray system. The finished product will be of equal or of better quality than the original with an unlimited thickness buildup.
